Early European and American brands used copper needle shells due to their easy processing properties, which influenced a group of Chinese Dot Peen Marking Machine manufacturers. Currently, some Marking Machine brands located in Shandong and Hubei provinces in China use copper shell marking needles. Compared to aluminum and steel shells, copper shells have a better balance between the wear resistance and processing performance of the needle sleeve mouth. However, the disadvantage is that compared to aluminum and steel needles, copper shells are slightly more expensive and heavier. To reduce instability caused by inertia, the idle speed of the Marking Needle usually needs to be set to be lower than the marking speed, and a slightly larger needle output delay is required than aluminum shell needles. At present, these copper needles are produced by two factories in China besides us, but most of the common Dot Peen Marking Machine brand copper shell marking needles are supplied by us. We usually use 92 HRA tungsten steel needle core material to produce this series of copper needles, but if end customers have a higher hardness workpiece marking or need to extend the needle core life, we can also provide 96 HRA tungsten carbide steel needle core material or use double angle, titanium plated or diamond inlaid needle tip processes for improvement. In addition, most models of copper shell marking needle can also be provided with aluminum or steel needle shells to achieve slightly different marking performance.
